Az intelligens és problémás Lydia rajong a barátnőjéért, a karizmatikus és lázadó szellemű Abbie-ért. A lányok egy szigorú angol leányiskolába járnak az 1960-as évek végén. Az iskolában hátborzongató és titokzatos ájulási sorozat veszi kezdetét.
